Greetings Beloved. Yesterday I shared about the idea of a "Miracle Zone." Today I would like to follow-up on that by sharing an affirmative prayer/meditation by Ernest Holmes. Each day as we rally our faith in the omnipresent GOD/GOOD it is essential to draw from the vast abundance of spiritual teachings and practices. This is one of my favorite contemplations for vitalizing my faith. Please enjoy.
 
Complete Confidence
My confidence in the ALL Good is complete.
My faith in the Power of Spirit is supreme.

I know that all things work together for good. Sometimes I may be a little hazy on that point, but deep down inside I do know this. I have experienced mighty miracles time and time again in my life. Yet, there are certainly times when I have been doubtful and taken the "we'll see how things turn out" position. It is fascinating to me how I can vassilate sometimes, and slip right into that reactive place as if there is any other option than success. At a retreat once, the Reverend Joe Kenna talked about the "Miracle Zone." Nice concept, right?

It seems that my early days as a cheerleader in high school have primed me for personal pep rallies! LOL. Sometimes I laugh at just how much my self-talk sounds like a pep rally. From the "okay let's go! let's get it!" when I jump out of bed, to the "I AM blessed! blessed! blessed!" in the shower, and the "God's got this and WE can't fail!" throughout the day, I am rallying my faith in the ever-present, all-powerful, all-knowing God! God is in me, as me, for me and with me! God is my strength! God is my inspiration! God is my Light! GOD IS MY LIFE!

Randomly when souls ask about Healing Truth Center and my background, I might get a hesistant look followed by the question "So you are into Scientology?" Then I take a deep breath (because I do not want to come across harsh or defensive when I say, Oh NO! Absolutely not! What would make you think that?) :) Let me simply say, God bless the scientoligists for their tremendous marketing and public relations efforts. I trust and pray that there is some good in the organization and their belief system.

During the start of my senior year in college a man asked me a VERY personal question.  When I hesitated to respond he quickly asked, "What's the problem? Are you ashamed?" Provoked by his subsequent questions, I went ahead and answered his original question despite how EXTREMELY personal it was. Here was a turning point for me in my early adulthood. Shame was now a concept for me to consider as to the role it plays in how I express myself to others.

Last night Shawna Marie and I attended a book signing at Brownstone Bookstore in Brooklyn. Yes, Healing Truth Center travels ;). This event was a two-fold. There was an author promoting his first book  and a panel of 4 men discussing Black love. It touched on the issues within our community on the challenges of a loving relationship. Trust me when I tell you it was the hardest thing sitting and just listening.

(As my FB family knows) I woke up this morning with love in my heart and a great excitement about life. After all, we are love. That in and of itself is very exciting. In this particular moment, I am inspired to do and to be my absolute best, full of joy and happiness. Created in love, surely my life is most aligned with love. I can be and receive love in wonderful ways. I have no time to waste. Do you?

One of the most influential teachers on my journey of faith, spiritual healing and understanding (life understanding) is Emma Curtis Hopkins.  Her words strike a chord within me that sparks understanding like none other. She calls this activity the "keynote." It is a healing word of Truth (spoken silently or out loud) that brings immediate recognition of its import. In the presence of a healing word of Truth, a peace comes over you. All of you (mind, body and soul) rises to agreement.

As we embark upon this new month of October and the fourth quarter of 2009, I am encouraging efforts to strengthen your spiritual practice. Who knows what amazing good can come forth in our lives before the end of this year of spiritual mastery. (2009 = 11 in numerology, which has to do with spiritual mastery.)  Our spiritual journey is unbounded, ever-expanding and evolving. Each day our awareness grows and so does our understanding. Our ability to meet, overcome and simply avoid certain experiences is infinite. In this building process of personal spiritual evolution we know that practice makes perfect. Therefore, we are constantly incorporating new levels of understanding into our new levels of expression. By "expression" I am referring to how we live and express ourselves in this world on a moment by moment basis.
