Shawna Marie Aarons-Cooke is an author, licensed psychotherapist, ordained minister, professional speaker and media personality. She is also the founder of Healing Truth Center - a multimedia ministry and resource for spiritual counseling, education and healing. Shawna Marie is the force behind the Prosperity NOW! Prayer Movement, inspiring a change in the world’s understanding about prosperity to include health, spirituality, career success and fulfilling loving relationships. She conducts workshops and provides private counseling to support healing on all levels of living: mental, emotional, physical, relational, financial and spiritual. On her blog and Blog Talk Radio Show "SHAWNA MARIE: Living in Spiritual Perspective" she creates opportunities where individuals of any faith can be inspired and heal ALL aspects of their lives.

Drawing on her background in corporate, ministry, mental health, spiritual healing and the hundreds of books in her library, Shawna Marie empowers others to transform their lives. While she is an ordained Christian minister, Shawna Marie believes in "individual spiritual pathways" -  a term she uses to encourage the personal ways individuals experience a greater relationship with God/Good in their lives. Her personal journey of spiritual discovery and healing has included more than ten years of training in spiritual principles, practices and healing methods. She has also trained and served as a clinical social worker providing individual and group psychotherapy to underserved communities of color, teen parents, survivors of sexual and domestic abuse and people living with HIV/AIDS.

Shawna Marie passionately speaks about spiritual principles and practices, mental health and healing, healthy relationships, healing from domestic and/or sexual abuse, overcoming grief and loss, personal development and career success, spiritual parenting as well as other topics. A Licensed Master Social Worker with a Masters degree in Social Work from New York University, Shawna Marie holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and Public Relations from Boston University. She is also a Licensed United Divine Science Minister and Practitioner, a faculty member of the United Divine Science Ministerial School, a member of the Divine Science Federation International and a lifetime member of the International New Thought Alliance.
