Shawna Marie Aarons-Cooke is the founder and president of Healing Truth Center. Always smiling, always positive, Shawna Marie is naturally inspiring. A spiritual counselor and educator, she is also the author of Prosperity NOW! Shawna Marie creates opportunities where individuals of any faith can be inspired, heal ALL aspects of their lives, enhance their spiritual discovery process and connect with others on the journey. Drawing on her background in corporate philanthropy, ministry, mental health, spiritual healing and the hundreds of books in her library, Shawna Marie empowers others to transform their lives. 

While she is an ordained Christian minister, Shawna Marie believes in "individual spiritual pathways" -  a term she uses to encourage the personal ways individuals experience a greater relationship with God/Good in their lives. Her personal journey of spiritual discovery and healing has included more than ten years of training in spiritual principles, practices and healing methods. She has also trained and served as a clinical social worker providing individual and group psychotherapy to underserved communities of color, teen parents, survivors of sexual and domestic abuse and people living with HIV/AIDS.

Shawna Marie passionately speaks about spiritual principles and practices, mental health and healing, healthy relationships, healing from domestic and/or sexual abuse, overcoming grief and loss, personal development and career success, spiritual parenting as well as other topics. Her perspective incorporates the teachings of Malinda Cramer, Emma Curtis Hopkins, Emmet Fox, Joseph Murphy, Phineus Parkhurst Quimby, Thomas Troward, Science of Mind/Religious Science, Christian Science, Divine Science, Unity, independent New Thought organizations, Spiritual Psychology, Metaphysics and more.

A Licensed Master Social Worker with a Masters degree in Social Work from New York University, Shawna Marie holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and Public Relations from Boston University. She is also a Licensed United Divine Science Minister and Practitioner, and member of the Divine Science Federation International and International New Thought Alliance.
