There’s a part of you that knows… EVERYTHING. Though you’ve probably never been told this and despite the discomfort you may feel even considering it, there is indeed access to Infinite Wisdom right inside of you. This access is available to you 24/7/365 whether you realize it or not.
You’ve probably heard the phrase, “Ignorance is bliss.” But, is it? Is it bliss to ignore access to Infinite Wisdom.. ALL-KNOWING “God” or the Wisdom of the Ages that the universe has to reveal to you? Is it bliss to ignore your inner leadings, intuition or messages from your soul? Is it bliss to never know your true power, purpose or potential? No. That’s not bliss at all. It’s just ignorance.. a lack of awareness and hence a life veiled from understanding, spiritual wisdom and fulfilling its true potential.
There was a time when I clearly foresaw my uncle being drugged at a high school party. I tried to convince him not to go, but he was insistent, left and promised to be careful. As he prepared to leave I’d told him, “Whatever you do, don’t drink the red punch.” I stayed up all night worried about him. By dawn he wasn’t home. Eventually the police were involved and I’d had a vision of him in a tree, in front of a big white house. My uncle was indeed found in a tree in front of a big white house. Still so young and without understanding how or why I knew these things, I considered if it would’ve been better that I didn’t know those things. Then and now, years later and after countless visions, the answer is no.
I find that visions and intuition prepare me, lead me and protect me. Even though trusting my inner wisdom is not encouraged, commonly taught or normalized, its been my saving grace. On the occasions when I’ve solely relied on my intellect and when I’ve let my emotions be my guide, the outcomes have paled in comparison to what happens when I go within the depths of my soul for inspiration and guidance.
My message to you this week is to live from within and seek answers, guidance, everything… from that part of you that knows. I call it soul, God and Holy Spirit, too. Call it what you will. Go there often. For more about the practice of going within.. to God, check out this week’s episode of the Living In Spiritual Perspective Show: “Gotta Problem? Take it to God!”
P.S. Consuming alcohol or drugs of any kind will distort your perception and spiritual growth. Period. I want to be crystal clear about that and the risks of substance use. It’s not my thing so it’s never been an issue or concern with regards to the messages, inspiration or intuitive living. However, I have witnessed distorted perceptions and perversions of practices by souls who engage in even casual drinking. Know that ANY use may distort your ability to understand and access Infinite Wisdom and hence is discouraged.
